CONTACT ARRANGEMENTS  FOR LRD
Licensing & Regulation Division is now at Ground Level, Tower 1, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands 3008 (entry via Flinders Street). (The old Melbourne West Police Station)
In order to provide a more personalised approach, attendance at the counter will be by appointment only.
There will no longer be a drop in service and customers will need to forward all applications/renewals/correspondence to:

Appointments are available on the following days between the times below:   Monday: 11:00am to 3:00pm
Wednesday: 11:00am to 3:00pm
Friday: 11:00am to 3:00pm  
Appointments may be made by contacting the customer service line on 1300 651 645.  
Appointments should only be made by customers requiring:
1.  An Interview in relation to a private security application applying under mutual recognition;
2.  Advice about a security or firearms licence that has been suspended /refused or cancelled; or
3.  To discuss more complex applications for firearms, individual security, business and corporate licences.

Customers concerned about sending sensitive or confidential documentation in the mail may consider utilising the Australia Post registered mail or Express Post options, although applications sent via standard post are assessed in the same way as those sent by alternate means.

licensingregulation@police.vic.gov.au, or alternatively telephone Licensing & Regulation Division on 1300 651 645 between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.  

On Wednesdays LRD phones are not answered.
